Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Water/Wastewater Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to contribute to the design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, and distribution systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering degree, a PE license or EIT with a clear path to licensure, and strong communication skills for collaboration with regulators, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of water and wastewater infrastructure experience.
• PE license or EIT with clear path toward PE licensure.
• Experience with treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution and collection systems.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret engineering designs, plans, and specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the design and execution of municipal water and sewer projects.
• Communicate effectively with regulators, contractors, clients, and the public regarding project details and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during project planning and execution phases.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
