Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer 2 to work from our Homestead, Cranberry, or Southpointe offices in Pennsylvania. The role involves contributing to water and wastewater system design, civil engineering tasks, and field support for municipal and industrial clients.

Expect collaboration within a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s in Engineering, PE licensure, strong communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM; GIS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering; M.S. a plus.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to write effectively.
Ability to work in a team and independently on project tasks.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM; GIS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in water/wastewater process and pipeline design for industrial and municipal clients.
Assist in civil engineering design for water, wastewater, and stormwater components of projects.
Prepare plans, specifications, and technical plans; contribute to studies and permits.
Field work including water sampling, site inspection, and field observation reports.
Prepare plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
