Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water & Wastewater Engineering Designer in Portland, OR. You will prepare detailed design drawings and construction plan sets for municipal infrastructure, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure constructible designs.

The ideal candidate has 2–6 years in water/wastewater engineering, a BS in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical engineering, and an EIT certification. This hybrid role combines office and field work with a strong focus on permitting and utility

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical, or related field.
• EIT certification is required or in progress.
• 2–6 years of water/wastewater engineering experience with a consulting firm, municipality, or public agency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings and construction plan sets using CAD software.
• Assist with engineering calculations and cost estimates for projects.
• Conduct field investigations to verify conditions for design development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop constructible designs.
• Develop project documentation, exhibits, and calculations per standards.
