Job summary

GHD is seeking a Conveyance Engineer in Northern California to support water and wastewater projects across multiple industries. This hybrid role allows in-office collaboration three days a week in Northern CA offices (Concord, Eureka, Santa Rosa, Roseville, Sacramento, Redding or Roseville).

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in civil engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D/MicroStation, strong communication skills, and a PE license in California or the ability to obtain within five

Qualifications

Interest and experience with engineering and design of water and wastewater projects.
Proficiency with CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and MicroStation.
Experience with client management and coordination with suppliers, regulators, and sub-consultants is a plus.
Experience serving as task manager, maintaining task/project budgets and schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Design Delivery Organization (DDO) on water and wastewater projects including conveyance, storage, and pumping design.
Develop and prepare PS&E packages and technical reports for delivery.
Conduct field work to evaluate project requirements and support construction administration.
Perform hydraulic analyses using software tools.
Prepare design reports, project specifications, and cost estimates.
Employ AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce construction plan sets.
