Job summary

GHD is seeking a Conveyance Engineer for our Design Delivery Organization in Northern California. The role supports water and wastewater projects across multiple industries, with a hybrid model requiring in-office collaboration three days weekly.

Location options include Concord, Eureka, Santa Rosa, Roseville, Sacramento, Redding, and surrounding offices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in civil engineering, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation), and strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental preferred).
Professional Engineer license preferred in California or can be acquired within 5 years.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities to work both within a team and independently.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on water and wastewater engineering projects including conveyance, storage, and pumping design.
Develop PS&E packages and technical reports for delivery.
Conduct fieldwork to evaluate project requirements and support construction administration.
Perform hydraulic analyses using manual or computer-based software applications.
Prepare design reports, project specifications, and cost estimates.
Employ AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce construction plan sets.
