Job summary

GHD in Northern California is seeking a Conveyance Engineer to join our Design Delivery Organization, supporting water and wastewater projects across multiple industries from Concord to Eureka. Hybrid work model requires in-office presence three days a week.

Responsibilities include developing PS&E packages, field evaluations, hydraulic analyses, and design reports using AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation; a PE license is preferred in California, with 5+ years of experience expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred in California or can be acquired within 5 years.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to work both within a team and independently.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DDO on water and wastewater projects including conveyance, storage and pumping.
• Develop PS&E packages and technical reports for delivery.
• Conduct field work to evaluate project requirements and support construction.
• Perform hydraulic analyses using software tools.
• Produce design reports, specifications and cost estimates.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil3D to create construction plan sets.
