Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead water and wastewater projects in the Naples/Fort Myers region. You will oversee on-site activity, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive safety, quality, and schedule.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction, strong leadership and the ability to read plans. A company vehicle and competitive bonus opportunities are offered in a stable contractor environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil or water/wastewater projects.
• Experience building or rehabilitating water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utilities.
• Strong understanding of concrete structures, mechanical installations, process piping, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and self-perform crews.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, craft labor, equipment, materials, and daily field operations.
• Coordinate work with project managers, owners, engineers, and inspectors.
• Maintain project schedules and drive production goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, quality control standards, and contract requirements.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate manpower needs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
• Lead site safety efforts and maintain OSHA compliance.
