Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks an Assistant Superintendent for a WWTP expansion project in the Fort Myers, FL area. You will support civil, architectural and structural work, coordinating with the Senior PM to ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery per contract documents and engineering standards.

The role requires supervising heavy civil construction, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining safety and quality across disciplines. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of civil, mechanical, and related construction disciplines.
• Cost control, manpower planning and scheduling knowledge.
• Ability to develop and maintain relations with Owner and subcontractors.
• Experience with task closeout and punch list management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site work, concrete structures, and equipment installation.
• Plan and supervise crews; review methods, manpower, materials, and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and employees.
• Maintain liaison with engineering and project management for compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Resolve construction problems to improve productivity.
• Monitor safety program compliance; enforce corrective actions.
• Ensure materials, inspections, and equipment support schedule.
• Review daily activity plans to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Inspect work for quality and conformance to specs.
• Uphold zero-accident safety standards on site.
