Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead onsite operations for heavy civil/industrial construction projects in Salt Lake City. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management and extensive field experience with mechanical, structural, and piping installations.

You will oversee crews and subcontractors, manage equipment and materials, and ensure project documents and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; 10 years of construction ops experience preferred.
• Direct experience with heavy civil or industrial construction.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, piping, welding and rigging on plant sites.

Responsibilities

• Onsite management of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Review plans, specs and drawings; plan manpower and equipment needs.
• Coordinate material, tools, and scheduling; manage project documentation.
