Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee wastewater and water treatment projects in the Detroit area. You will manage day-to-day on-site operations, drive schedules, control costs, and ensure safety and quality compliance across design-build projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of superintendent experience in wastewater/water treatment, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in wastewater and water treatment projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater and water treatment processes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage subcontractors, and coordinate complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project oversight from site prep to completion.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and operators.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor quality and ensure project specifications.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate with clients with regular updates.
• Identify and resolve issues to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
