Job summary

The Mechanical Superintendent role on Jobot's project teams oversees on-site construction, coordinating field personnel from start to finish. You’ll lead pipe, mechanical equipment, structural steel and welding tasks on heavy civil/industrial projects, with emphasis on safety, schedule, and quality on site.

We require a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent, with 10 years in heavy civil or industrial construction, ability to travel, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction-related field.
• 10 years of construction operations or relevant experience.
• Direct experience in heavy civil or industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site management of projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise mechanical equipment, structural steel, piping, and welding works.
• Plan resources, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance.
• Review plans, specs, drawings, and quantities; manage materials and scheduling.
