Job summary

Loenbro is currently seeking a Mechanical Superintendent in Salt Lake City to lead field mechanical construction for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and industrial infrastructure projects. You will oversee installation activities, plan workforce, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with engineers, owners, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibilities.
• Experience reading P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all field mechanical construction activities on water/wastewater treatment, pump stations, and industrial projects.
• Supervise foremen, craft professionals, welders, pipefitters, and subcontractors; drive safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, owners, inspectors, vendors, and other trades to resolve field issues.
• Oversee installation of piping, pumps, valves, and associated mechanical equipment per specs.
• Support testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover.
• Monitor schedule and resource planning; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Handle other duties to support operations.
