Job summary

Gerber Construction is seeking a proven superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for water and wastewater treatment plant projects along Utah's Wasatch Front, generally from Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork. You will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials while upholding safety, quality, schedule, and productivity.

Relevant heavy civil construction experience and the ability to read plans are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven superintendent or field leadership in heavy civil construction.
• Direct experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction is required.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, specs, elevations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction operations for water and wastewater treatment plant projects along Utah's Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork).
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and daily activities.
• Maintain safety, quality, schedule, and productivity; develop short-term construction schedules and look-ahead plans.
