Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks a Construction Manager to supervise the construction of water and wastewater facilities and utilities in Colorado. The CM will manage field activities, documentation, inspections, and coordination with design engineers, owners, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering or CM, 5+ years CM experience in heavy civil or environmental trades, valid driver's license, and proficiency with MS Office; certifications such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as Construction Manager in heavy civil or environmental trades.
• Valid driver's license and strong communication skills.
• Experience representing Owner/Engineer in water/wastewater projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management tasks and interface with clients during delivery of water, sewer, and stormwater projects.
• Oversee field inspections, quality control, schedules, and budgets.
• Review contract documents, RFIs, and shop drawings with contractors.
• Coordinate communication among contractor, design engineer, facility managers, and owner.
• Mentor Hazen construction staff and ensure project compliance and safety.
• Use cloud-based documentation tools to maintain project records.
