Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Senior Field Coordinator to support and coordinate the construction of water, wastewater, and conveyance infrastructure projects. You will assist in field inspection, document control, RFIs, submittals, and weekly reporting, ensuring compliance with contract documents and project goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of field construction experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field (experience can be considered in lieu of degree).
• 3–5 years relevant construction management/inspection or design experience, preferably water/wastewater.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn PROCORE, Bluebeam, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings.
• Provide document control.
• Assist in processing RFIs, submittals and shop drawings by contractors.
• Prepare weekly project meeting agendas and document meetings.
• Coordinate communication among contractor, design engineer, stakeholders and owner.
• Perform field inspections for compliance with contract documents.
• Prepare sketches and data for design engineers.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Utilize cloud-based project documentation (e.g., PROCORE).
• Perform other construction management activities as needed.
