Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects across planning, design, and construction phases. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, create design reports, perform calculations, size equipment, and support construction management through commissioning.

Required experience includes 5+ years in water/wastewater design; a civil/mechanical/environmental engineering degree; and a PE license or plan to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering.
• PE license is preferred or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
• Experience in project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities planning and design projects.
• Preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/selection, and construction documents.
• Field work and site visits from planning through construction and commissioning.
