Job summary

Hazen And Sawyer seeks a Field Coordinator to support and coordinate construction of water, wastewater, and conveyance projects in the Fort Collins area. The role requires 1–3 years of field construction experience and a civil engineering or related background, with preferred PE/ CCM/ CMIT or EIT certification.

Travel within the area may be required. Responsibilities include document control, reviewing RFIs and shop drawings, coordinating among contractors, engineers, and owners, and preparing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 1–3 years relevant field construction/inspection or design experience (water/wastewater preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpretation of project specifications and drawings.
• Providing Document Control.
• Assisting in the processing and review of RFI's, Submittals and Shop Drawings prepared by Contractor.
• Assist in preparing weekly project meeting agendas and documenting meetings.
• Coordinating and facilitating communication between the contractor, Design Engineer, various project stakeholders, and the owner.
• Performing field inspection of Contractor's daily operations for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Preparing sketches and assembling data for the Design Engineers use.
• Preparing daily and weekly reports on work accomplished by the contractor.
• Use of cloud-based software or project documentation such as PROCORE
• Other Construction management activities as needed.
