Job summary

MWH Constructors in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the mechanical aspects of water and wastewater projects and supervise a team of construction professionals.

You will coordinate with clients and regulators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, safety compliance, and adherence to project plans and contract requirements. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, 12+ years of municipal project experience, 8+ years in leadership, and CCM or PMP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical) or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• 8+ years of management experience including client interface and business development.
• CCM or PMP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
• Thorough knowledge of construction practices, union jurisdiction, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage process mechanical operations from start to finish.
• Interface with client, oversight representatives, and regulatory agencies for project execution and business development.
• Make decisions to improve client relationships and project profitability.
• Develop and pursue new business opportunities for a given client or region.
• Provide safety program oversight and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
