Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead field inspection on Sacramento infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with the owner, contractors, and consultants to ensure plans and specs are met, and manage field progress interfaces for cost and schedule.

You will prepare reports, reviews, and risk assessments to support project success. Required are a four-year degree in engineering or related field and 10+ years of site experience on water/wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in inspection, construction, or operations.
• Experience on municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction practices, union jurisdiction, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Attend construction meetings with the Construction Manager.
• Organize and chair weekly progress meetings.
• Review plans and shop drawings for issues with contractor.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
