Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants is seeking a dynamic Client Service Director in California to grow and strengthen our water and wastewater practice across our national footprint.

This senior leadership role combines client relationship leadership, market development, team building, and delivery oversight for projects in water, wastewater, stormwater, and related sectors. Hybrid work is supported with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in consulting, engineering, or infrastructure services.
• PE license in California or ability to obtain licensure.
• Thorough understanding of the local consulting market, including municipal needs.
• DBIA certification and/or design‑build experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and business development in water/wastewater sectors.
• Direct strategic growth and market development across territory.
• Oversee project delivery, scope, schedule, and staffing.
• Build and mentor high-performing internal teams and leaders.
• Collaborate with leadership to align proposals and pursuits.
