Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a dynamic Client Service Director in San Diego to grow and strengthen our public and private water and wastewater practice across our national footprint.

This senior leadership role combines client relationship leadership, market development, and delivery oversight for water, wastewater, stormwater, environmental, and related consulting work, with a focus on building teams and delivering practical infrastructure solutions that benefit communities and utilities.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or MS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or a similar engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant consulting/engineering/infrastructure experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities and identify new clients, projects, and service offerings across the territory.
• Advance client relationships to expand service offerings and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
• Lead strategic pursuits: positioning, teaming, proposal strategy, and pursuit planning.
