Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a dynamic Client Service Director in California to lead and grow our water and wastewater practice across our national footprint. This senior leadership role combines client relationship leadership, market development, team building, and delivery oversight for infrastructure consulting.

You’ll operate at the intersection of client leadership, business development, and project delivery, leveraging established relationships to advance growth while building high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering field.
• Industry experience and knowledge of water/wastewater sectors preferred.
• Professional licensure (PE) in California or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities by identifying new clients, projects, partnerships, and service opportunities in water and wastewater.
• Advance client relationships using municipal, industry, and teaming networks to grow offerings.
• Lead strategic pursuits including positioning, teaming, proposals, interview prep, and planning across your territory.
• Build and guide high-performing teams through staffing, development, and inclusive leadership.
• Oversee project development from planning through design and construction, including scope, schedule, and fees.
• Contribute to delivery by serving as project manager, project engineer, or team member, applying leadership and technical judgment.

Education
