Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Water and Wastewater Business Development Manager to join our Water Team serving Eastern PA, NY and NJ. The role focuses on identifying, positioning, proposing, and winning targeted opportunities with both public and private water infrastructure clients.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and commercial acumen, with a proven track record in business development and project management in a consulting engineering firm. Hybrid work options available in NJ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of client management experience.
• 10-15 years of total professional and project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license is preferred.
• Proven business development experience in water/wastewater/municipal infrastructure.
• Experience with portfolio financials and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal efforts and capture plans for clients/projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure client satisfaction and coordinate with delivery teams on service issues.
• Engage in industry groups and committees to promote the company.
• Maintain CRM activities and data accuracy.
• Provide input on business development priorities and budgets.
