Job summary

Kleinfelder, a Forbes Top Employer for Engineers, seeks a Water and Wastewater Business Development Manager to join our Eastern PA, NY and NJ Water Team. The role identifies, positions, proposes and wins targeted pursuits, growing a diverse client base and delivering multi-disciplinary water infrastructure projects.

Based in Hamilton, NJ or New Providence, NJ with hybrid options, travel in the region is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of client management experience in a consulting engineering environment.
10–15 years of total professional and project management experience.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

Support proposal efforts, capture plans, scoping activities, and presentations.
Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Ensure client satisfaction and coordinate with delivery teams to address issues.
Engage in industry groups, committees, or board governance.
Foster collaboration, client focus, and high morale within the team.
Maintain client relationship management (CRM) activities and data.
Provide input on business development priorities, budgets, and expenditures.
Support risk and commercial terms management during project lifecycles.
