Job summary
Kleinfelder in New Jersey is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering lifecycle solutions for municipal facilities. You will collaborate with principals and project managers on planning, design, construction, and funding activities, focusing on water/wastewater treatment and hydraulics.
Hybrid schedule offered with offices in Princeton or Hamilton, NJ; or Philadelphia (Exton), PA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level engineering degree required in a relevant field (chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical).
- Engineer-In-Training/FE certification desired or pursued.
- Experience in water/wastewater facilities design and related civil engineering preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM tools; familiarity with process modeling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning and design support for treatment studies and hydraulic modeling.
- Assist in process/mechanical design, equipment selection, and layouts.
- Support construction phase services, including submittals and RFIs.
- Assist in funding applications and permit processes, perform design basis studies.
- Conduct condition assessments and basis of design activities.
