Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager within Management and Technology Consulting to lead the delivery of strategic projects for local governments and utilities across North America, with emphasis in California. You will manage client engagements, mentor junior staff, and help grow our services in the West Region.

You will work with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective communications, and milestone-driven execution, while traveling as needed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, math, finance, economics, statistics, data science, engineering, accounting, or related field is required.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 7+ years total post-undergraduate working experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary member of multiple teams at client meetings, including interactive use of analytical tools and facilitating workshops; train junior staff.
• Act as client account manager and project manager for engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Identify best-fit solutions to complex business, strategic, infrastructure, and operational issues with elevated risk.
• Assist the project team in interactive meetings to analyze issues affecting organizations and stakeholders.
• Grow client relationships and lead business development in responding to RFQs and RFPs.
• Review analyses for technical accuracy and appropriate methods and tools.
