Job summary

Newport Pacific Capital Co Inc is seeking a part-time Water Truck Driver for our 94-space manufactured housing community in Castaic, California. The role involves transporting water, loading verification, routing efficiency, and daily ticketing.

You will ensure vehicle maintenance and safety while reporting volumes and maintaining logs. The ideal candidate has a Class A license, basic mechanical skills, and strong organizational abilities to manage tickets and schedules efficiently while

Qualifications

• Class A driver's license required.
• Basic mechanical skills to service a water truck.
• Strong organizational skills to complete water tickets, tickets, and logs on time.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Evaluate daily load hauling schedule to determine the most efficient route.
• Gauge water tank daily and report volumes hauled/transferred.
• Complete timesheets, water tickets, and load records daily and forward to supervisor.
• Maintain truck and notify supervisor of problems; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Conduct all field activities safely and in accordance with company policy.
• Operate and maintain all company equipment per safety standards.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

California.Essential DutiesProvide a full range of maintenance duties including, but not limited to:Safely pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed via verbal or written instructions.Evaluate the daily load hauling schedule to figure out the most efficient route to follow when going to locations.Accurately gauge water tank when hauling water on a daily basis. Fill out tickets at locations as well as at the disposal site to report volume of water hauled/transferred.Assure that paperwork such as timesheets, water tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately and forwarded to supervisor daily.Ensure that the truck is maintained and in good working condition. Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs as necessary.Responsible for conducting all field activities safely and accurately.Responsible for operating and maintaining all company equipment & property within safe operating standards.Other duties as required by supervisor.Skills RequiredMust have a Class A driver's license.Basic mechanical skills to work on a water truckGood organizational skills to complete, organize, and forward water tickets, vehicle inspection reports, and driver’s daily logs in a timely manner; also to plan the most efficient route to follow when picking up loadsHours:Part-time 15-24 hours.Paid Sick TimeTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
