Qualifications

• Must have a Class A driver’s license.
• Basic mechanical skills to work on a water truck.
• Good organizational skills to complete, organize, and forward water tickets, vehicle inspection reports, and driver’s daily logs in a timely manner; plan the most efficient route when picking up loads.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Evaluate daily load hauling schedule to determine the most efficient route.
• Gauge water tank levels daily; fill out water tickets and reports.
• Ensure paperwork such as timesheets, water tickets, and load/transfer records are completed and submitted daily.
• Maintain the truck and report problems; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Conduct all field activities safely and accurately.
• Operate and maintain company equipment within safe standards.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
