Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to join our team. Under direct supervision, you will operate and maintain water treatment facilities, monitor instrumentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid KS driver's license, and willingness to learn wastewater operations and obtain necessary licenses. We offer comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some technical or mechanical work experience preferred.
• Ability to learn wastewater treatment plant operations and obtain appropriate licenses.
• Valid KS driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains daily operation of water treatment facilities.
• Conducts routine water testing and records results in plant log.
• Maintains treatment units, pumps, valves and chemical feed equipment.
• Monitors charts, gauges and on-line analyzers and calibrates instrumentation.
• Calculates chemical feed rates and adjusts treatment as directed by supervisor.
• Keeps facilities clean and maintains grounds.
• Work environment includes outdoor conditions and moderate noise.
