• Conduct routine testing of water, record results, and maintain the plant log book.
• Maintain facility treatment units including settlement basins, filters, sampling equipment and pumps.
• Identify and report repairs needed for water treatment plant equipment.
• Monitor charts, gauges and instrumentation; maintain calibration per permit requirements.
• Calculate chemical feed rates and adjust treatment based on lab results to meet water quality requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness.
