Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Water Treatment Operator for our Tampa facility. The role involves maintaining and operating water treatment and waste processing equipment to meet permit and operational requirements.

You will monitor gauges, record data, perform chemical tests, and ensure safety while complying with EPA and Florida regulations. A high school diploma is required and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be able to use computer programs for process control.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
• Record readings and data for shift logs.
• Operate equipment to purify water and treat waste.
• Maintain and clean equipment, tanks, grounds and work areas.
• Follow EPA and Florida regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in minor maintenance and field tests as needed.
