Hot Springs Village is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator I – Operator In Training to join the Public Utilities team in Hot Springs Village, AR. Under direct supervision you will learn to operate and maintain pumping stations, treatment plants, and reservoirs.

Responsibilities include performing laboratory analyses, sampling, monitoring, and record keeping, plus basic SCADA operations and safety compliance. The role requires availability for after-hours work and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have an Arkansas Driver’s License.
• Must obtain an Arkansas Grade I Water Treatment Operator License within a year.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain water pumping stations, treatment plants, master metering stations, and reservoirs under supervision.
• Perform laboratory analyses, sampling, monitoring, calculations, and calibration.
• Read recorder readings; maintain records and perform general duties as needed.
• Be on call for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
