Job summary

Select Water Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to perform essential field tasks at our Midland, TX sites. You will handle water treatment operations, monitor gauges, dose chemicals, and transport equipment, while following all safety protocols and completing daily reports.

The role requires at least one year of water treatment experience, strong teamwork, and solid communication skills. Training for DOT, OSHA and safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• One year of water treatment experience or equivalent training.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented due to safety requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to thrive in a team environment.
• Energy industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment, policies, procedures, and safety strategies.

Responsibilities

• Laying and picking up poly line, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water treatment operations.
• Chemical dosing of produced water based on water quality, rates, and customer demands.
• Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks.
• Observing machine operations, and gauges, and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
• Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per task.
• Assist in containment and spill clean ups.
• Communicating with other workers, customers, and other companies via signals, radios, and phones.
• Using common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task.
• Attending and successfully completing training for DOT, OSHA and safety.
• Keeping a clean work area.
• Completing daily reports.
