Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to safely manage on-site water treatment tasks across locations. You will perform lab tests and chemical dosing, monitor pumps and gauges, and maintain equipment while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of water treatment experience, strong teamwork, and good communication skills. This role involves field work, outdoor conditions, and DOT/Safety training commitments.

Qualifications

• One year of water treatment experience or equivalent training.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented for safety and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Team player able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Energy industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment, policies, procedures and basic safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Laying and picking up poly line, running transfer pumps and essential water treatment equipment; perform lab tests (H2S, ORP, pH, Turbidity, TSS, iron, residual chemistry, TPH/TOG).
• Chemically dose produced water according to water quality, rates and customer demands.
• Load/unload pipe and materials for safe transport.
• Observe machine operations and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Set and service pumps and generators at job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE, assist in spill containment and cleanup.
• Communicate with workers and customers via signals, radios, or phones.
• Operate common hand/power tools and drive trucks as needed.
