Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Cedar Water Treatment Facility in Renton, WA. You will oversee plant operations and laboratory practices, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe practices while guiding a team of technicians.

You will diagnose process issues, prepare reports, manage budgets, and train staff to meet performance targets. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement within a dynamic water treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Washington State Level 3 or 4 Water Treatment Certification or reciprocity within 6 months
• 5+ years experience operating water or wastewater facilities
• Supervisory experience at a drinking water treatment facility
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and laboratory practices of the facility
• Diagnose operating issues and implement corrective actions
• Prepare required reports and maintain records
• Monitor budgets, expenses and resource allocation
• Supervise, evaluate and train employees
