Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Water Maintenance Supervisor for our water treatment plant in Jackson, MS. You will oversee maintenance, repairs, and improvements on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring asset management and contractual deliverables are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations/maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience supervising or in a leadership position.
• Experience with CMMS and entering data into a maintenance system.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and relevant laws for water industry.
• Assists budgeting and cost estimation for repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and direct maintenance/repair of mechanical equipment, buildings, structures and grounds.
• Assist project manager in budgeting and estimating cost/time for repairs or replacements.
• Read blueprints, drawings, plans and equipment specs for client projects.
• Perform skilled mechanical repairs on WTP equipment.
• Analyze failures and prepare reports to support maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training and supervision as needed.
• Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure compliance with standards.
• Travel to client sites and other locations as required.
