Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a skilled Water/Wastewater Supervisor to manage treatment operations and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple facilities. You will oversee plant performance, monitor data, and coordinate with engineering and operations teams to optimize processes.

The role requires a B.S. degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience, and PA licenses; travel and on-call duties are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or Biology.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater.
• Pennsylvania Class A Water and Class B Wastewater licenses incl. subclasses.
• Valid U.S. Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality drinking water and wastewater effluent at lowest cost.
• Learn and manage SCADA and other monitoring systems; review water quality data and respond to alarms.
• Oversee water and wastewater treatment to meet process targets and optimize chemical dosages.
• Conduct treatment studies and assist in special projects as directed by the Director.
• Be on call 24/7 and respond to emergencies immediately.
• Assist with ongoing capital projects and coordinate with departments and contractors.
