Job summary

GFT is seeking a Water Treatment Process Engineer to join our Water team on a hybrid schedule requiring regular office attendance. You will lead design and optimization of potable water treatment systems, including evaluation of processes, development of improvements, and support for permitting and construction.

You will contribute to projects across advanced water treatment, PFAS considerations, and residuals handling, with travel for site visits and field investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a PE license or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• 4+ years of experience in water treatment, planning and/or process evaluation for potable facilities.
• Strong understanding of water treatment chemistry and processes; hydraulics and chemical feed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of potable water treatment processes, including evaluation of existing facilities and design of improvements.
• Conduct site visits, treatment studies, develop process recommendations, and prepare design reports and permit documents.
• Coordinate and support permitting and construction administration activities.
