Job summary

GFT is seeking a Water Treatment Process Engineer to join our Water team in a hybrid role with regular office attendance. You will lead design and optimization of potable water treatment processes, from intakes and pump stations through disinfection and filtration, contributing to sustainable water infrastructure.

Candidates should have a BS in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering (MS preferred) and PE licensure, with 6+ years in water treatment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• 6+ years in water treatment, planning and/or process evaluation for potable water facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support design of potable water treatment through evaluation of existing processes and facilities.
• Perform treatment assessments, design improvements, and manage permitting and construction administration.
• Conduct site visits, complete treatment studies, and develop process recommendations and reports.
