Job summary

GFT is seeking a Water Treatment Process Engineer to join our Water team. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at one of our offices.

Joining the water engineering team at GFT means contributing to sustainable water management and infrastructure, focusing on treatment, filtration, disinfection, and PFAS removal. You will lead design, optimize processes, and support permitting with 6+ years of experience and PE certification.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 6+ years of water treatment experience.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of potable water treatment processes, including evaluation of existing facilities and new facilities.
• Conduct site visits, studies, and develop treatment process recommendations; prepare design documents and reports.
• Support permitting efforts and project delivery through plan, design, procure, construct, and commissioning phases.
