Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for the water treatment sector to drive technical sales and new business from lead generation through closed deals with OEMs, distributors, dealers, and private-label accounts.

You will manage Salesforce CRM, build a qualified pipeline, and collaborate with engineering and operations; travel up to 50% and work from home when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in residential/light commercial water treatment equipment sales with technical knowledge of water chemistry and equipment sizing.
• Proven track record in full-cycle sales and customer relationship management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to visit customers and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation to proposals and closing—building OEM, distributor, dealer, plumbing, and private-label accounts.
• Maintain an active Salesforce CRM pipeline with accurate stages, values, and close dates.
• Serve as the technical expert for water treatment products, assisting customers with selection, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate requirements, forecasts, and risks with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Travel 30–50% for customer visits and trade shows; utilize AI tools for research and market tracking.
