Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking a Water Systems Maintenance Technician to perform the full range of operations and maintenance of drinking water facilities, distribution systems, and storm water infrastructure. The role requires strong safety, regulatory compliance, and the ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support continuous operations.

The position may supervise lower-level technicians, review water quality data, train staff, and prepare compliance

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a Water Distribution or Water Treatment 1 Certification in good standing.
• Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work a 24/7/365 schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform water sampling, testing, analysis, and chemical treatment for a broad range of water systems.
• Review, analyze, and interpret water quality data; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate and train staff in potable water sampling and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, design, and install chemical feed equipment and related electronic controls.
• Oversee disinfection of the water distribution system and associated facilities.
• Process work orders and provide response for emergencies; participate in on-call rotations.
• Prepare compliance reports and serve as liaison to government agencies.
• Maintain and monitor the chemical feed system; conduct preventive maintenance tasks.
