National Park Service in Port Angeles seeks a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator to assist in the repair, maintenance, and operation of water facilities and distribution systems. You will read meters, monitor devices, troubleshoot equipment, and perform related repairs in a federal wage position.

Responsibilities include assisting in lab sample collection, bacteriological analysis, and emergency water/wastewater repairs. On-call and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Read meters and check monitoring devices, pressure switches, gauges, pumps, motors, troubleshoot and reset switches and breakers.
• Assist with the collection and processing of water samples in the operation of a state certified lab, performing bacteriological analysis following quality assurance/quality control requirements.
• Assist in sewage pumping operations, schedule, and emergency water and wastewater system repairs.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the repair, maintenance and operation of water treatment facilities and water distribution systems.
• Read meters, monitor equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and reset switches and breakers.
• Support lab sampling and bacteriological analysis per QA/QC requirements and assist in wastewater system operations and repairs.
