Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Water Systems Operator II in Rialto, CA. You will install, maintain, and repair water mains, pumps, wells, and related equipment, while monitoring SCADA systems and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will perform routine PMs, sample for regulatory standards, and support field crews. The role requires strong safety practices, ability to work outdoors, and the capacity to supervise a small crew or work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of progressive responsibility operating electrical and mechanical water production equipment.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and basic plumbing and construction.

Responsibilities

• Operates wells, boosting pumps, engines, valves and chemical feed with SCADA monitoring.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on water facilities.
• Performs field tests and monitors chemical dosages for process control units.
• Notifies supervisors of regulatory compliance concerns and follows PCMP.
• Assists in training new operators as needed.
