You’ll assist with basic engineering deliverables, participate in data collection and analysis, and develop skills across disciplines. Hybrid work options apply after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding (background check, drug screen, MVR).
• Hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support water, wastewater, and utility systems for power plants and industrial customers.
• Provide internal support for water system designs across technologies.
• Develop familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, and procedures.
• Adhere to Black & Veatch quality program.
• Prepare basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies.
• Perform routine research and make recommendations for equipment and materials.
• Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods.
• Understand and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Share current knowledge of latest technology and processes.
