Rodney Hunt Company is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair water control gates and valves at customer sites. The role involves up to 50% travel and collaboration with project management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in field service or relevant technical roles, with the ability to read technical drawings and work with electrical/hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair water control gates and valves at client sites.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform calibrations.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve equipment performance.
• Coordinate with project management to meet timelines and expectations.
• Assist manufacturing in understanding product specs and quality assurance.
• Prepare service reports and document all visits and follow-ups.
• Provide customer training on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Ensure safety protocols and company policies on-site.
