Job summary

Rodney Hunt Inc is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth for sluice gates and flow-control solutions. The role may be inside or outside sales based on qualifications, with a development path through structured training and mentoring.

The successful candidate will couple engineering understanding with consultative selling, collaborate with Engineering and Estimating, and travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, present solutions, and close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or related).
• Typically 5+ years in capital equipment, engineered products, technical sales, or municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated success in consultative/technical sales to municipalities, engineers, EPC contractors, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue growth within an assigned territory through proactive outreach and project pursuit.
• Promote Rodney Hunt sluice gates and flow-control products to engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead/participate in product presentations and trade shows to represent Rodney Hunt.
