Zusammenfassung

Flow Control Group's Fluid Process & Pumps division seeks a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair water and wastewater equipment at municipal, industrial, and commercial sites. You will travel regionally, work on pumps, submersibles, aerators, mixers, valves, and control systems, and provide operator training.

You should have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree, apprenticeship, or related certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years servicing industrial equipment; water/wastewater systems or municipal utilities a major plus.
• Technical skills: read and interpret mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), and electrical multi-meters.
• Licensing & Travel: valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Physical & Environmental demands: lift up to 50 lbs; outdoor/all-weather environments; confined spaces.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot & Repair: diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures across pumps and equipment.
• Routine Maintenance: perform preventative inspections, alignments, and parts replacements.
• Installation & Commissioning: set up, test, and commission new equipment and control systems on-site.
• Controls & Instrumentation: troubleshoot VFDs, motors, panels, sensors, and basic PLCs.
• Customer Service & Support: serve as on-site technical lead and train operators.
• Documentation: complete service reports, timesheets, and parts logs in the field software.
