Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Water Supply Operator III in Santa Fe Springs, CA to oversee daily operation of pumping, treatment, and distribution systems. This role includes mentoring Operators I and II, performing advanced maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance with SWRCB standards.

The ideal candidate will have SWRCB Grade 2 certificates, strong math and analytical skills, and experience with SCADA systems. Must reside within commuting distance to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Driver’s license.
• Proficient with Windows and office software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and operate water supply and treatment equipment.
• Train and mentor Water Supply Operators I and II.
• Perform advanced maintenance on plant equipment.
• Conduct dosing calculations and monitor flow rates.
• Maintain treatment and supply records.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
