Job summary

STV is seeking a Structural Engineering Specialist to join our Water Practice across multiple locations, including Oklahoma City. You will perform design, analysis, and drafting support for water facilities, with limited travel and field work.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, FE/EIT certification, and proficiency with major structural software. This position offers competitive pay and robust benefit options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• FE exam (EIT) completed or eligible.
• Proficiency with finite element software and related tools.
• Eligible for U.S. employment with valid driver’s license; pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations per codes and standards.
• Develop structural plans, design, and layout; provide drawings for drafters.
• Review shop drawings and research design options.
• Prepare load combinations and support cost estimation with quotes.
• Use CAE software to prepare engineering design documents and attend meetings.
• Conduct field observations and communicate progress to the team.
